these are awesome! i have never been anywhere so majestic as some of these images that sell books.
i have seen book stores like that in Calcutta though - but the books weren't in English.

You should google Powell's bookstore in Portland, Oregon.
It started as a regular store, then they bought the shop next door and expanded into that space ... then they bought a bit more and a bit more, so now it takes up an entire city block, right in the centre of the town.
It is the best bookshop I've ever been to.
