REVIEW: Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr

    1. Wicked Lovely
    2. Ink Exchange
    3. Fragile Eternity
    4. Radiant Shadows
    5. Darkest Mercy

The Enchanting first novel in the best selling series, Wicked Lovely is a novel that captures you and takes you away with the fairies.

Aislinn has always seen faeries. She has always lived by the three rules:

RULE 3: Never stare at Invisible faeries.
RULE 2: Never speak to Invisible faeries.
RULE 1: Don't ever attract their attention.

But these rules alter dramatically when a faerie pursues Aislinn. Disguised as human and oddly trying to become part of her life, can Aislinn keep her secrets, fall in love and make the right choices?

I love this book. I am smitten, Wicked Lovely is definitely high up in my top 10.

The way the Marr writes has the characters leaping off the page, playing out the scenes in front of your eyes. The characters are skilfully written, making them believable and life-like; their personalities similar to those of people you might know.
The plot itself is filled with twists and turns that retain your attention to the last page and after, the wrting leaving you wanting more.
I highly recommend Wicked Lovely for teenage girls aged 13-16.

I Can't wait to read the next book, INK EXCHANGE
